I am writing to update you about COVID 19 and our club.
First, please know we are taking extreme measures to prevent the presence or spread of the Coronavirus at Cross Creek Country Club.
Although we already had a thorough cleaning schedule, we are now sanitizing the touchpoints and high traffic areas many times per day, from the restrooms, locker rooms, to tabletops, golf carts, flagpoles, doorknobs, etc. To the extent it is available, additional hand sanitizers have been provided in all areas of the club.
Our kitchen staff and servers are trained on proper hand washing techniques and are wearing gloves when preparing your food. Any employee showing the slightest sign of illness will be sent home. Proper sanitizing methods for surfaces are always used in our food preparation areas – we have now redoubled our efforts.
We have reviewed the precautions listed on the Center for Disease Control website. These precautions are also posted in employee areas of the club. They can also be found at www.cdc.gov<http://www.cdc.gov>.
We don’t know if the COVID 19 virus will show up in a member, guest, or employee at Cross Creek Country Club, but we will notify you immediately if this occurs. Just like our nation, this is unchartered territory for us and we will adapt as needed if this changes.
In the meantime, and if you are wary of groups of people or have cabin fever, one way for you to enjoy the club and maintain social distancing is to play golf. It’s outside in the open air – and with any luck, the sun will be out. We can even arrange for you to go to the first tee without having to come in the pro shop. You can walk, or take a cart if you feel comfortable with our continual disinfection efforts.
Please feel free to call me if you have any concerns or questions. I will be providing you with updates as often as possible.
